Dr. Galiņanes was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and moved with his family at an early age to Springfield, Missouri. He completed his Vascular and Endovascular Surgery fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia which included one year of dedicated research at the Dalton Cardiovascular Research Institute. He is a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies with a double major at Drury University.
Dr. Galiņanes is a board eligible, vascular and endovascular surgeon. He is specialized in the care and treatment of vascular diseases. He is skilled in
percutaneous catheter-based interventions, open vascular and hybrid endo-vascular surgery for carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral artery disease hemodialysis access and varicose veins. He has advanced expertise in percutaneous Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, as well as advanced endovascular techniques including percutaneous atherectomy,
drug-eluting angioplasty and stenting. He also specializes in treating a wide array
of venous disorders.
